Connect is an online community where you can share your experiences and find support from people like you. As a Champion, you are already part of the Connect community, and can view and post without having to create an account. February’s #MonthlyMission challenges you to:

  • Find a Connect group that interests you.Speech Bubble Alert
  • Explore some of the posts.
  • Provide encouragement or post your story.

Reaching out

Reaching others online is an easy way to make a difference with your experience ─ and you can do it from home. When reaching out on Connect, be sure to:

  • Show empathy and understanding.
  • Be honest and real. Struggle may have been part of your journey, too.
  • End your post with a question to keep the conversation going.

Did you know?

You can keep an eye on a Connect group or specific discussion through email and site notification alerts. Just select “+ Follow” in the top banner of the group or at the bottom of original post in a discussion. You can edit your notification preferences within your account settings under the “Email Notifications” section.

As Community Director of groups on Connect, I think this might be my favorite #MonthlyMission. Naturally, I’m biased. I look forward to welcoming you to the conversations.

@colleenyoung Awww shucks. Thank you and I like your monthly mission. This is the only site that has been supportive. Thanks for all that the staff does. A healthy place where I find encouragement, support and caring.
