Dec 13, 2016 · Facet ablation in Spine Health

@lynettegable  I also was given a radio frequency ablation in lumbar and S joint for pain that I have had for 25+ years. Have had many injections thru the years and many meds which cause horrible side effects or do nothing. So, too many allergies in history. Ablation supposed to work within 8 weeks, and altho I had psyched myself up that this last procedure would work, it did not. For some it can last for a year until the nerves that were burned grow back. I am at my wit's end – passed back and forth between neurologist and pain mngmnt dr. They have nothing else up their sleevGreat to read that some of you can take the meds and procedures and they help…….@ladyjane85

to Medic 7054-   I tried but had no effect with vaping, but never smoked before .  Does it last much beyond the vaping?  When I need it is when I am going to be active, but one cannot be high and out in public. I fear it did not work on me with 4 puffs is that no meds work on me and my pain gets as high as 9 to 10. Trying CBD spray, expensive, but no response to that either….        @ladyjane85

Thank you @JustinClanahan    from @ladyjane85    I have done both, but w/ so much incoming mail from May connection I want to zoom thru it on email and delete what I do not want to discuss, so easiest is that people always say up front who they are replying to. Courtesy.

To @mikee      Do not know whom you are responding to since you do not mention names. Just wrote about my case where no med including narcotics have helped. Along with the back and leg pain, I do have fibromyalgia.    from @ladyjane85

To @mikee     My pain dr and neurologist keep bouncing me back and forth. So far none of the meds I have tried in some 20 years have helped, or bad reactions to them. So many allergies to meds. Even tried expensive spray of CBD oil – no relief from RLS and probably neuropathy. Have had 5 back surgeries, numerous epidurals, and ablation. I am in god awful pain back and legs.    @ladyjane85

Because of pain for many, many years, from spine, and fibromyalgia, etc. I finally moved into a continuing care facility where I am in Independent Living. One's meals, housekeeping, and social life are right here, with medical help.  Just a suggestion…..   @ladyjane85

@mayocl.in/2fbxTuB  and @kanaazpereira      I am so sorry – I forgot my former dry eyes. I have such other painful issues.  Yes, I had trial tubes put in the tear ducts and then the longer lasting ones, and they still are doing a good job. Cannot remember but think my optometrist, told me they would be good for a year. There  is no pain involved and you will tend to ask did he already put them in….   @ladyjane85
