Wed, Feb 13 1:05pm · Pain in the butt - Can't sit down in Chronic Pain

I have similar symptoms. Have seen a pain specialist for 10 years with little help. They talked me into the nerve implant stimulator. Turned out that I was allergic to it. Had that removed. Countless injections.
Lyrica for lower leg pain and foot neuropathy. That drug helped me to gain more weight than was I was in labor with my kids. Did hardly anything for my pain.
Now I've developed unmanageable pain in my hips and femur bones and muscles. My pain dr refuses to address this because he started treating me for low back pain from a work injury.
I'm a 56 year old woman and trying my best to find a solution other than pills that aren't helping anyway. P.S. I live in the snow belt and its adding to it. I wish you best of luck in everything.

It sounds like a sciatica problem.

Mon, Feb 4 9:12pm · Facet Joint Injections - Anyone had success? in Spine Health

I've had many of them. Ask your doctor if they have valium available if you're able to take it. It's more of an uncomfortable feeling as opposed to being painful. The injection site will be tender for a day but you should be ok after that. Good luck. I hope it helps.

Fibro never goes away to my knowledge. I take magnesium and it helps me a lot as well as prescriptions. Lyrica is one.

Thanks Jim.
I’m pretty confident I had an excellent Dr.
He told me that its rare (like2%) of the people who get them have the pain in their ribs like i have. My incision opened up now where three battery is so I’m fairly sure it has to come out. I have been ill since I had it put in . For some odd reason my body isnt excepting it . they put the vacuum back on it and I’m taking antibiotics. If it doesnt close before the 16th its going to be removed
Happy to hear yours is a success.

I had it installed Jan 3rd of this year. I found out yesterday that the insicion that holds the battery opened up.
Ive been telling my Dr from the beginning that I think I’m allgeric to it as I broke out in hives right after having it put in. Today’s Feb 7th and I still have miserable hives. After seeing my Dr yesterday, he believes me. That wound shouldnt have opened up. Now I’m on antibiotics and am having a vacuum put back on it. If the wound doesnt close between now and my next appointment on Feb 16th, it’ll have to come out. In terrified. That surgery was no walk in the park.

I agree. I live in N.Y. where its been legalized but its a long waiting list to actually get to see the Dr. Its also nearly unaffordable. I wish the insurance companies would pay for medical marijuana. We all know its better for us.

I have Afib. I take fleciaide and metoprolol to control it . I had to have cardiac clearance before having it installed. I’m 99.9% sure it won’t interfere.
