I wish you all the luck in the world. I have the MRI with the contrast dye every other year for 12 years. Last year I had to have two because of changes.
The MRI found my cancer very early, three months after a mammogram.

No one in my family had cancer until they were in their 70s. I did not test positive either. When I was 40 I had a ductile lavage after lumpectomy. They felt that I had 7 to 8 years of being clear. At that time they said I was 2 stages away from cancer. It was up to me take the Tamoxifen. I did not. 8 years later it was found on a MRI, 3 months after a mammogram at Stage 0. MRI Had caught it very early. I took Tamoxifen for 4 1/2 years until I had a black blood clot.

Your history is a lot like mind. Except I had Brachytherapy and an Ablation.

An MRI saved me. They were able to see my cancer very early. Only three months after a mammogram that showed nothing.
Every other year I have a MRI. Insurance always puts up a fight.

I took tomoxifen for 4 and a half years and I am 11 years cancer free. I did have some side effects.

Lymphedema has happened to me on my right side, after breast cancer. I couldn’t understand why my doctors were just shrugging their shoulders like they don’t know why and we will watch and see. The lymphedema group has a lot of good information.
