Feb 13, 2013 · Brain Aneurysm in Stroke & Cerebrovascular Diseases

I was in an accident a few months ago and struck my head on the concrete left a couple of large welts to my forehead and left-side. During my three day hospital stay, an aneurysm was detected. Since this time; I have dizzy spells, vomiting, disorientation, vertigo and headaches. Is an aneurysm, which is caused from the blow to the head, more or less dangerous than other brain aneurysms. Quality of life has not been the same as before the accident? I am very concerned in regards to the future and frantically searching for answers.

Jan 7, 2013 · Hi Kari, I was in an accident a few months ago and in Just Want to Talk

Hi Kari,

I was in an accident a few months ago and struck my head two times in a bouncing affect. My head struck the concrete and left a couple of large welts to my forehead and left-side. During my three day hospital stay, several test were run and during these test an aneurysm has been detected. Furthermore, life has not been the same. I have dizzy spells, vomiting, disorientation, vertigo and almost unbearable headaches. Is this normal and it will it go away? Was it possible that the aneurysm was cause from the blow to my head and what (in your experience) can I expect? Will I ever be as healthy as before the accident? I am very concerned in regards to my future and frantically searching for answers. Thank you, Dan. @kariulrich
