Jun 13, 2012 · Brain Aneurysm in Stroke & Cerebrovascular Diseases

My sister had an aneurysm rupture in her brain. She survived the surgery – thanks to the doctors and the good Lord – with no known complications. Now we are starting to notice changes in her behavior, strong use of alcohol, and saying things sometimes that just don’t make any sense. I’m not very sympathetic or understanding with this, but then I wonder if there could be some type of problem going on within her brain that we are not aware of? Could an aneurysm disrupt her normal way of thinking? I am so angry with her and I just don’t want to be angry if she really can’t help it. Any advice? Thanks!
