Admire your hopefulness and dedication. You want to be better and that wins all the battles, on every level. Maybe some people dont have enough of that desire, or maybe they dont believe it can happen. Questioning that and realizing I dont have what it takes and even if I did, am I up for a fight this big, all the time?

Yes! There seems to be a sort of second reckoning when the positives that come with getting a prescribed drug out of your life are replaced with symptoms that say you cant manage without them. I feel like I survived something awful and broke free but the dark starts taking over again and I blame myself for not doing it right, not doing life right. I am not sleeping enough (10 hrs?), not eating as I should (not totally 100% clean), not avoiding triggers ( family, responsibilities, work issues all still exist), and not exercising enough. I feel awful and I was supposed to be better.

Help. If someone needs help, as in bridge drugs, or someone to listen to them, in person, now, that may be found at a hospital. Being reassured that what you are feeling physically is not a heart attack, or ms, or anything else your mind is working on would be helped by having your blood pressure taken, by knowing you are being checked properly. This forum has shown that others are being helped in many ways and when in the depths of a bad time, getting help shouldnt be discouraged.

My suggestion – go to the hospital. If you can, get someone to take you to the hospital. If you are not being taken seriously there, ramp up the complaining until you are. Putting yourself through more misery is not the way to go.

Living in a routine and covering the sleeping and eating properly bases is a huge challenge. Knowing you need to, you are supposed to, and that it will eventually pay off doesn't make doing those things automatic. I fight with myself, chastise myself, then don't follow my own rules yet again. Sounds like you are doing well with self- discipline and giving your body what it needs, giving it a fighting chance.

Makes much sense. How does one tell what is working and what isnt? Is one “healed” because they have accepted their current state, whatever that is?

And so do I. Is this it? Is this what better looks like?
