I eat a healthy diet that is high in foods that contain vitamin B6 and also some of the other B vitamins. I don’t need to take anything else.

I have always had blood in my urine. But it’s because I’m a hemophiliac and I seem to seep a little blood from a lot of my body parts all the time.
Lyrica did not help with my neuropathic pain and my hair fell out including my eyelashes and eyebrows. Because of my spinal cord injury, my autonomic nervous system does not function well. It affects everything from my esophagus and stomach to all my organs including my intestines and my pancreas, liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, bowels, etc. My immune system is compromised and nothing works like it used to. The burning pain wakes me up at night and I have not had a full night of sleep in eight years. I try to remain as positive as possible and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
According to the Christopher Reave Foundation nurse, neuropathic pain changes over time. A drug that worked for us a few years ago, may no work anymore. Sometimes we need a stronger dose or maybe another drug will help with the pain. I have increased my dosage for gabapentin and it still works for me, but I may have to try something else soon.
I got my book on Lifespan today. When I read page 304, I realized that I do most of what he does except taking resveratrol and metformin. I have to check them out. I have been taking most of the other things though. I can’t go for a walk, so I can only do a few exercises at home. I have kept my weight down to 120 pounds and am fairly strong. I want to live a bit longer and be healthy.
