Thu, Sep 5 3:12pm · Extreme fatigue with MAC in MAC & Bronchiectasis

I went to their web page and found it to be confusing. I didn’t see anything about treating MAC. I must have navigated wrong???. And I did not see how you can get to see someone…. somehow it looked to me like it was all research.

I was told there is the possibility that you can get over it on your own. My guess would be that would only be the case if a person had a mild case….but it’s just a guess. Is this not true?

I just want to mention that I was prescribed 750 mg once/ a day of Levofloxacin. A pharmacist scared me and said he knew many people that can’t take this high dosage, I took it for 10 days with almost no side affects…. I had some trouble sleeping and my one problem shoulder ached a tiny bit sometimes.

I saw it on a a web page called Body Pro which is more for people with HIV/AIDS but it was an article about MAC. I just wondered if anyone here had heard that. I was told by my doctor to avoid all water spray, even watering my garden.

I was wondering if anyone has stopped eating things like bagged pre washed lettuces and other items like this? Or even lettuce, spinach etc that you wash yourself? Do you take extra precautions with all produce to remove possible bacteria? Also have you been told to stay away from all water spray? I have found this to be disconcerting only because my new kitchen sink has a wonderful sprayer, I actually must run water slowly to avoid water spray. All of my faucets seem to have aerators in them.

I am taking the 750 mg once a day for 10 days. I noticed I didn’t sleep much last night…dozing maybe. Nine days to go. I have no cough. My pharmacist scared me.
