I have had the burning in my buttock and feet since I had back surgery approx. 7 yrs. ago. I have been to many doctors and clinics to no success. Ice does help and then I take percocet with gabapentin . I always get up each morning and run cold water over my feet or soak them in cold water. That does seem to help too. When this doesn't help I'm am in tears. Very hard to sit.

I have neuropathy in my feet, ankles, and lower back. The burning is so intense at times it brings me to tears. I have medical marijuana, it is an oil that you put under your tongue. I have taken a lot of it and it does nothing for me. I am thinking I need a cream to apply to my back. Has anyone experienced this? I have been to many doctors and clinics with no progress.

For the person that stated Medical Marijuana helps her I am wondering how it was taken and how much. I have tried taking it with the drops to no avail. I heard I should mix it with cream and apply it topically, Can I get an answer for this. I have such burning in the low back and buttocks area and the feet and ankles. It is like my body is on fire. I had back surgery approximately 7 years ago. L4&5

From what I am reading the topical works best on the area than the drops. The drops only made me feel light-headed.

Yes, I have neuropathy. I have Excruciating pain in the feet and ankles and often in my legs. The burning is unbearable at times/ I have not found any kind of relief. I have tried gabapentin which didn't help one bit. I had back surgery 7 years ago and I have had this burning since then. I have been to many doctors, out of state and in-state, with no success. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
