Thank you for checking in. Happy Holidays to All.
I am currently 8 months post transplant and have had smooth sailing so far. I received a year supply of sunscreen for a holiday gift so I couldn’t be happier 🙂

Regarding fatigue prior to transplant….I got to the point where I got to the kitchen to do household chores and needed a nap afterwards. I was still able to get to the grocery store but would only walk through the produce isle since walking around the entire store was a challenge due to terrible cramping.
Post liver transplant my fatigue and leg pain vanished. The other day I went for a 5 mile walk and wasn’t even tired. I still cannot believe it and am just very grateful to all the amazing doctors out there.
Sorry to change the subject….has anyone heard the term “activation list”?
A co-worker of my wife indicated recently being placed on the activation list however this person has been on the waiting list for some time.
Just curious what the difference is if any. Thanks.
Not Hep C but I was the recipient of a Hep B antibody positive organ. I am currently 4 months post transplant and am currently doing well. I was able to be transplanted with a lower MELD since My family and I decided to accept a “higher risk” organ if one became available. My doctors indicted this seems to be a nonissue with medication which is lifelong .
