@weezy1939 I am sorry that I didn't describe De3 better. De3 are soft gel capsules and I take 3 a day with food. They contain different types of fish oils. I frequently was using drops but rarely need to use them anymore.

@weezy1939 I found out yesterday that I need my hip replaced because of degenerative arthritis. I have had two sessions with a therapist and am already doing the exercises that I downloaded from your letter. They aren't going to cure me but will strengthen me before surgery
I have seen many of you dealing with dry eye. I too had a big problem with dry eye as I was losing my sight because of non-arteritis ischemic optic neuropathy. My ophthalmologist had me use De 3 which is made of many different fish oils. I buy it at my ophthalmlogist office and I might use drops once every other day instead of every hour
@weezy1939 I had cataract surgery on both eyes last week and now the 10% vision I had is clear. I am wearing cheaters for now until I can have a refraction in 5 weeks. I need trifocals which I have worn for 30 years but for now I feel like I have won the lottery!
@weezy1939 MayoClinic doctor and my own eye doctor did not recommend anything except to take good care of my health. Lack of sight has caused me to slow down physically which then causes other problems. Hard to walk in crowds and winter weather so I am in Florida for a month where I can walk fast on beach and not bump into people. When I get back home I am having cataract surgery and hope it clears up what little sight I have. Have any of you had cataract surgery in eye with NAION? My doctor doesn't think it will help but hope I prove him wrong.
@weezy1939 I was told the nerves? or what they are called and there are thousands of them have been destroyed. My NAION happened in right eye in 2011 so until this past winter I lived with that. Many people live with one eye and most of the time I forgot that I had very limited eyesight in right eye. It's unusual I was told that it happens in both eyes and I hope that is the case for you. My eye doctor who has been practicing for thirty years has only seen it 3 times in both eyes. Best of luck to you
