I had a spinal cord stimulater for 5 years. I became super sensitive to it and had it removed. It helped a bit but was difficult to program for relief. I think it is great relief for a number of people.

I agree with you! Finally off all meds (methadone, Lyrica, Cymbalta, Trilipix, Restoril to name a few) since December 2018. Have my medical marijuana card and nothing else other than supplements. Best decision ever!!!

Were your samples THC plus CBD? From what I understand the SUBLINGUAL (tinctures) take 10-15 min for initial effects; 30-60 min for maximum effects and last 2-4 hours. Salves last 45-60 minutes; vaporization lasts 2-4 hours. INGESTION (ie: Capsules) take 60-90 minutes for initial effects and 2-3 hours for maximum effects with the duration of effects being 6-12 hours. It tends to be an individual process to find what works for you. More is not always better… your dispensary should be able to help you.

Powered through – good for you! Over the years my son was married and grandkids arrived. The grandkids didn’t understand (as they got older) why grandma slept so much. So happy I am off all meds now… still had chronic pain while on meds so I was always hopeful to try another route.

It is okay – I’m getting there. Takes so much determination not to give up… everyone dealing with chronic pain knows it is a tough road to travel… and a long journey to boot!

Took me 6 mo to figure out… the 3rd dispensary I tried had a Dr on staff. Basically, no set formula just trial and error…

For many years I spent probably 60-70% of my day in bed. Pain meds made me tired. My quality of life diminished. Socially, I pulled way back because when others saw my pain they were helpless and I wanted to hide. I tried to continue to work and was in such a brain fog. Fortunately, I had an office and would shut my door and rest on the floor. I pushed thru exercise classes and would get painful spasms that would draw attention. I explained that they would pass and one day the instructor said in front of everyone that I freak her out. I stopped. I’ve never had such pain in my life as I’ve had from shingles. I was 56 at the time and am now 71. The saddest thing is there are many worse off than I am. I fake my way thru social events. Smile, laugh and act like I’m enjoying myself when in reality I just want to be home and in bed.
