Dec 8, 2018 · Hand tremors in Brain & Nervous System

Hi Im not sure if this has been discussed before please point me in the right direction if it has. I ve been having hand tremors for a few years now and I reckon its getting worse. I have been on Chlolipmarine Hydrochloride for about 20 years for anxiety, depression and obsessive thinking. They have always worked for me but i think one of the side effects is hand tremors. Ive had blood tests and all ok there. the Doctor suggested coming off the CH and trying Sertraline, which I did but just felt like sleeping all the time, so back to CH. Its like Ive got too much adrenaline! It is worse in company and at work even though Im not stressed or anxious. As Im typing this my hands are shaking. It doesn’t stop me doing anything but its annoying and I often have to drink holding the cup or glass with both hands and my writing is awful. My Uncle had awful hand tremors but was also on antidepressants, my mother too but less so. Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks you both Ginger and Gail for your replies. I am obtaining info from various sources but will definitely look at healer.com thanks Gail. My tremor has been investigated and concluded it was the chlomipmarine. xx

Hi All Im Helen from the UK. I've been on Chlolipmarine Hydrochloride for many years for depression/overthinking/anxiety for many years and it has been a life saver. Over the last few years I have developed shakiness in my hands which is really annoying. Its like Ive got too much adrenaline and its all ended up in my hands!! So I've tried Sertraline which made me so tired I kept falling asleep. So back to the Chlolipmarine. I've read a lot of mainly positive stuff about CBD for all sorts of things. It has become legal in the UK after a successful court case. Yesterday i bought some from a retail outlet with a view to trying it. I haven't yet because Im not sure ! I was thinking talking to my Doctor but its so new over here that Im not sure they will know much about it. Should I try it with my antidepressant or should I try coming off them (in a managed way of course) and then try CBD.
