I try to think of my favorite Mother's Day memory and I end up crying. I spent the day avoiding the subject, out of sight, out of mind; hopefully next year the memories will be easier to remember.

First Mother’s Day without my mom then in a couple days the one year anniversary of my mom passing. Very difficult time. I have come to an understanding that grieving will never end that I will adjust to it eventually. I still deal with the questions if I did the right things as a caregiver; I know it sounds crazy but it how my mind works. I guess it one day at a time. Thank you for listening.
@247pain Sorry to hear how migraine affect your life. Had migraine for 21 years, try every medication; suffered terrible side effects. Migraine took over my life, most months 25 out of 30 days. I finally found a doctor who was willing to try a different way of thinking; now on Tompiramate and Aimovig Injection and migraine has been reduce to 2-3 days a month. @247 pain I wish you luck as you try to find relief from migraines; do not give up, you will find the answer it will take time but I believe it can happen.
Condolences. It not easy, just take it one day at a time. Grieve at your own pace, ask for help from friends/family or seek professional help. Starting to learn; cry if you must, or sit and remember the good times or take a day and have a break from everything.
Hi, lost my mom seven months ago. Not in a holiday mood and I feel uncomfortable when people wish me happy holidays, not to be rude I wish them back to them but trying to not cry in front of people or strangers. Now it New Year and the feelings are worst. Any word of wisdom?

Thank you. I will ask my doctor about Topricin because Pennsaid and the Flector Patch has not been successful.

I have tried to talk and if they do not listen I switch doctors. A few examples of what been said to me; lose weight so I did, nothing change so now it because I am older. Try Gabapentin, it worked for a while but then I gained a little weight so the Doctor stop it. Physical Therapist told me my alignment is all wrong and cannot be helped. Trying to stay positive though all this, one day at a time.
