Sep 25, 2018 · After knee replacement surgery in Joint Replacements

I am in my 6th-7th week after bilateral total knee surgery.I found the first 2 weeks far better than other weeks cause the anaesthetic drugs aren't worn off yet and whilst in hospital they consistently dose you up pretty good. After rehab and when home I hate it. They gave taken me off tablets too soon I feel , sleepless nights nausea, etc I am at 112 both knees though and physio is going good

I am in my 6th week after bilateral total knee replacement everything seemed to be going so well until 2 weeks ago. The pain medication has severely knocked me around making me continually nauseous, drowsy and listless. I can’t do anything. Dr has reduced medication but vomiting, diarrhea, breathlessness continues I wish I never had it done and don’t feel I will ever be ready for the workplace again

Sep 5, 2018 · PT for TKR - Pain from stretching & Other rehab questions in Joint Replacements

I've just come out of rehab it's been 4 weeks now with total knee replacement bilateral I am anaemic and nausea all the time get spasms and twitches a lot there is something still showing up in my liver so I need more blood tests next week . One knee was done under work cover and the other knee through my top cover health fund which has complicated things is there anyone that went back to full time work after 7 weeks ? I'm a school teacher – kindergarten and even though I am 98 in one knee and 90 in the other I feel I won't be ready yet. How much should you walk, is a massage chair any use? How much hydrotherapy is good and will a rowing machine do harm? When can I use a tread mill?
