5 days ago · Statin discontinuation due to potential neuropathy cause, alternatives in Neuropathy

Yes, that is another proof that statins are not the right thing for a lot of people. The Dr. had put me on all of the statins (to find the right one) and all they did was make ache and did not do a lot for my cholesterol numbers anyway. I decided ENOUGH ALREADY and stopped on my own. I also learned that Big Pharma gives kick backs to Dr.'s who prescribe them. https://www.npr.org/series/130598927/dollars-for-docs-how-pharma-money-influences-physician-prescriptions. One of my Doctors was a leader in pay offs. (needless to say I no longer use him). But, I digress, it did not help to stop the statins because if that was the cause it was too late to stop the neurapathy pain.

Yes, and I bought my own on Amazon for $129. I am happy with it.

How about buying one from Amazon, for $129? And if it doesn't help you, send it back. I have been using it and it seems to give some relief, but I have only had it for a couple of weeks. I am hopeful, the copays were killing me at the Drs.

I think that is when my neurapathy started with the statin, I did the gamut of them and all they did was make my bones and muscles ache. So, I quit them on my own but it was too late to stop the burning feet.

I am glad that you know what it is. I bought mine from Amazon for $129 and i have prime so no shipping. Everyone that i have told about it has has relief for lots of different pain. I am grateful for the neurapathy relief. It is a small price to pay and like I mentioned the co pays were killing me (3x a week) so now I am able to save time and money. I do it for 10 mins 2x a day and am very satisfied. I stopped using the ultrasound for now, but, i will start again for my shoulder pain. Good luck.

I know what you mean. I have the night sweats at times too, seems like it comes in streaks and then it goes away but returns No answers on the reason. My feet burn so bad some nights that I feel like I will scream with the pain and cannot go to sleep. My cold laser therapy device helps relieve most of the pain, but not all. Good luck, I hope that you find some answers.

Please give the cold laser therapy device a try. I have found relief even after trying it for 10 minute sessions for each pain, carpel tunnel, back, neuropathy, and ankle. This device is even used in chiropractors offices and believe it or not, vets offices for dogs with hip pain. I bought mine on Amazon for $129 and it is cheaper than having to pay co pays per visit. Plus, if you don't like it return it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KGG3JS2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A1NIW05O2O2QPD&psc=1

I forgot to say that my tens unit did not help at all. I had such high hopes but i never got any results to report. I like to use Amazon as opposed to Ebay because if something isn't right, they let you return it if you read the policy for returns before you buy. Ebay usually stands by the seller not the buyer.
