Fri, Apr 12 9:03am · Living with Neuropathy - Welcome to the group in Neuropathy

I have been trying the program for about 100 days and have not seen any improvement. That does not mean that others have or have not had PN relief and are better health that before. So far I have tried many different approaches, the elements, anodyne therapy, massage therapy, chiropratic, accupunture and have not found any relief.
I will continue and if I do find something that works I will shot it from the roof tops.

I suggest being more persistent in getting an appointment at Rochester. I know it is difficult and I was refused several times. Please consider not going directly to a neurologist but General admissions It was discovered that my issues are caused by nerve clumping not Idiopathic (through a good MRI), and can be treated. Not sure if these treatments will be successful or not but it is important to get a good diagnosis and find out exactly what you have. This gives you the opportunity to fight back and do what you can to improve your condition. Good luck and god bless.

Judy, hang in there. My neuropathy started about 6 years ago. Some of it is caused by nerve clumping and surgical scaring and some caused by something else which was describe recently as oxygenation. Whatever the cause the pain and suffering can be terrible. Some days are really very bad and others OK. Not that it makes you feel any better but there are many of us that suffer from this.
I will be beginning two different treatments, one at the end of next week (for the surgical/stenosis cause) and one in the month of May. If there is any relief to my symptoms I will shout this from the roof tops so that others can benefit
I am presently taking supplements that have not seemed to do much. I will continue this because so many have found relief from this treatment even if it takes long periods of time. If you are interested in this let me know by private message on Connect.
Good luck, god bless and I do hope we all get better.

I did speak with Brett yesterday. He surprised me with a telephone call after I completed an on line form on his website. This in itself shows that he really cares about what he does and who he is. Also the fact that he is ex-marine also says a great deal.
I am a great distance away from his practice and if I can see him for help, trust me if he helps I will let as many know as possible. This condition has changed my life and really slowed me almost to a stop. I have also tried everything else available with little or no success.
Thank you so much Waltermc for your courage to speak up.

Thank you so very much for the information you have posted here and congratulations on your health improvement. I have been dealing with serious neuropathy for several years and I generally look to grasp at any straws as my condition seems to worsen.
I have tried many different treatments but none have been successful. I live a very long distance away from their clinic but will travel just about anywhere to find relief.
If you can please provide more information about their treatments before I commit to traveling that distance, it will be very much appreciated.

I feel absolutely terrible about the issues your wife is dealing with. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT GIVE UP AND KEEP TRYING.
I to have had several surgeries and also denied being seen at Mayo after the first application . Please do not give up.
I did go through Internal Medicine and was accepted to see someone there. I was at my wits end and really wanted to find out what was wrong with me. I really was desperate and often depressed.
I started in Internal medicine but also went through (once seen at internal medicine) neurology, cardiology, psychiatric and orthopedic departments.
Please believe me when I say that all of the staff and care providers are second to none. They are very professional and in the end will tell you your wife's condition is even if it's not what you both want to hear.
I am happy that we spent the money to stay at hotels and travel to find out what my condition really is instead of having additional unnecessary surgeries.
Worst case (maybe best case) scenario is to go there and wait in the waiting area for someone to see you.
Good luck to you and your wife
Fred
