Tue, Jan 8 2:20am · Brintellix in Depression & Anxiety

After having been off Zoloft for 2 years and only taking Ativan for anxiety attacks I felt I needed more stability – my neurologist suggested I try Brintellix and provided a 2 week trial. It is indeed a powerful medication focused on clinical depression but I feel much better now and will probably stay on this after consultation with my neurologist next week – will keep you posted ( very few side effects)

I should add that I am also temporary on Deanxit- a drug not available in the us. N it is to give me a ten booster for 3 month yen go back to Ativan only
It certainly works but makes me very tired. My neurologist asked my just to finish the 3 month course and I said Ativan alone would then work better again – i trust HIK so i obey

Sorry I can not follow the thread but just wanted to ssy that I witnessed improvement with the use of medicated patches – maybe you are doing this already. It is a tough journey but sometimes there is a glimmer of light. All the best I am only an sssistsnt caregiver and the patient is 90 years old and in stage 7 – the impact in her grown children is devastating

There must be help to get if you ask a moderator- I found my doctor by asking around in the hospital but that was more luck than design just asking all the nurses in Bangkok biggest and very famous university hospital – I was in icu but conscious and the doctor came to see me the following day and in good Mayo stile he said I can now take over as your lead doctor he did and all other appointments now go via his nurses that cuts down waiting time. I hope you find luck as I did
