Fri, Jan 4 12:39am · Colorectal cancer stage 3c: Need positive feedback in Colorectal Cancer

You can do this!! I was diagnosed with stage IV 2 1/2 years ago…NEVER thinking i would have cancer! I had a bowel resection, liver resection and several lymph removed, some clean, but most not. Got through the chemo – 5FU – although Oxalyplatin was hard on my nerve endings . My Dr stopped that after 6 treatments and I finished the 5 FU with all 12 doses. Since then I've had radiation for one spot to a lung, and just keep fighting. I also think diet and exercise and staying upbeat and positive helps. Best wishes – You are not alone!

Dec 17, 2018 · HIPEC in Colorectal Cancer

Hi! I would also like to hear from anyone who has had this surgery! My dr is suggesting it for a couple of enlarged lymph in the peritoneal area. I underwent right colectomy and a liver resection in July 2016, followed by chemo. One year later I had radiation to treat one spot on my lung. My liver and lungs have been clean-now this lymph has enlarged! I am healthy and strong – just not sure if I will be that way after HIPEC? And I can’t find anyone who’s actually had the surgery?

Jun 12, 2018 · Ostomy: Adapting to life after colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy in Digestive Health

I had a right colectomy 2 years ago and my gallbladder removed 1 year ago-no colostomy. BUT the last 6 months I have had chronic diarrhea and rarely can get by without using Imodium frequently. Any suggestions?
