My daughter is 14 she has had her period since she was 11 she gets very irritable when it comes around bad cramp and stomach pain but in the last year I can count on one hand how many time she has had her period but she says when pees there is clots but when she uses a tampoon there is not blood until she takes out the tampoon and waits till the next day later in the day then she has some lite spotting. She has a history of thyroid issues and pcos. I don’t know if I should take her to the dr or not?
I am 40 and I have been dealing with it since I was 10 from never getting my periods. At the age of 20 I was diagnosed with PCOS I got pregnant with first child which I lost at 6 weeks and then 2 years later got pregnant with 2nd child she was late but had vaginal birth my periods where heavy after that and then in 09 I have twins they where c-section at 35 weeks. Then the periods got worse. Last year I had become anemic because of it. They claim my uterus is large and when he did the d and c and the ablation he had to remove multiple polyps. I’m sure menopause is in my future. I just didn’t think it would be this early.
I had an endometrial ablation in may of this year my dr said I will either not have my period anymore or it will go back to the way it use to be before I had my kids. I thought maybe the clots would stop to but I guess not. My question is how big is to big for passing clots and what is a normal amount of clots? I’m beginning to think the ablation didn’t work. Also I had many polyps when they did the ablation.
