Happy to hear that people who have had Nissan done may be able to have the LINX. I’m so happy I had it done.

I had the LINX procedure in September 2018 and have had no real problems, just expected recovery issues. I do not have a problem with gas. I am able to burp or vomit without a problem, if need be. I did have a chest ache/backache occur a few times but have not had it now for several weeks. I was told it was probably a spasm. Sometime white bread will become lodged. This is now rare and only requires that I give it a minute and it passes. Overall I have been very pleased. Have not needed antacids since the surgery.
I also had a hernia repair.
Look into the LINX Augmentation procedure. There are videos on YouTube. I had the procedure in September 2018 and it was very successful. I had a 4 cm hiatal hernia and my esophageal sphincter stayed open. I haven’t had to take an antacid since the surgery (laparoscopic) and adjustment was more than tolerable. Now I eat anything I want with no difficulty,
The surgery was a success. I haven’t had heartburn or acid reflux since. Early on I had to take my time eating or food could get stuck a bit down near the opening to the stomach but no longer gives me much trouble unless I eat soft white bread, hot dog buns, or eat too fast. Long periods go without any problem at all. I will be having a repeat esophagram and BRAVO monitor at the year anniversary to assess success further, I went to USC to have the best doctor I could find, Dr. Lipham. I wanted someone who had done many, many LINX procedures. I didn’t want to have it done in LV.
I also got off of PPIs by taking Zantac and Tums combined. However, I did have a hiatal hernia repaired and a LINX Augmentation Procedure in September 2018 and now take nothing, no meds of any kind. No heartburn, no nausea, no pain. It was a godsend for me.
I had a hiatal hernia repair (4 cm) and the LINX Augmentation done in September 2018. I had acid reflux over 80 times a day.
Immediately after the surgery (laparoscopic) I no longer had heartburn, no pain, and no nausea. I had it done at USC in L. A. By Dr. Lipham. I would highly recommend it if you are a good candidate and everything you expressed seems like you may be.
