I am @marield65 and i was on Lyrica. Had bad paranoia and hallucinating. Got off it right away. Sorry you are having depression from it. That should not be. Were you on it for a long time? There is so many meds I cannot take. I am on Vicodin for severe back pain and could get a liscence for MM, but what do I do when I travel? One day at a time…..

I take turmeric curcumin. I heard it calms down the inflammation of arthritis. It is funny because I just bought another bottle but I am not sure it’s working or not. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and it depends on the weather and other things that I will have soreness and pain. Dampness and cold bother me but I take turmeric as an insurance to ward off what might be. @marield65

Anyone have several back issues that involved epidurals and spine surgery and/or fusions? And I need, yet again another fusion. I am 72, otherwise good health, but am so tired of my back issues and need some help in deciding what to do about another surgery. I am in chronic pain, on meds for the pain if the epidurals don’t work. Am in denial right now about needing another surgery but sooner or later will need it and need some support right now. Anyone else have problems with constant back pain or issues?

How do you know what to get to help me sleep? I am on many meds, how do you know the interaction you will get by taking CBD? Also my age,74, would that be a factor? Thank you @marield65

Mar 8, 2018 · Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS) - Let's talk in Intensive Care (ICU)

@muriel66. I am @marield65 and had delirium the past 2 operations. Would you like to discuss this as no one else that I know has had this and cannot understand what I went through. It turned out to be a reaction to the opioids, DiLaudid was one, and it took them a few days to figure that out. In the meantime I was in a Delirium state and I remember where I was and what I was doing in the state of mind. I was not in the hospital but remember the things I did in my mind but not one thing that I remember while I was in the hospital. The doctor said that I was deliriously happy. I don’t remember anything about the hospital. I feel I lost a week of my life and the things I did while delirious was unbelievable. I had to either be tied to the bed or had a nurse by my bed 24 hrs because I kept trying to “escape “ from the hospital. Do you remember anything? Now I need more back surgery and am afraid it will happen again. Thank you

Who is they? Yes, meds sometime we get reactions but no one is forcing you to take it. You have to keep trying them to find what works.
