Jul 31, 2017 · Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma in Blood Cancers & Disorders

Hi Cindylb,

I was diagnosed of lymphoma about 7 months ago. I already finished the chemotherapy and the cancer is in remission. My symptoms were different than yours. I started with stomach problems that were increasing little by little until I had an endoscopy. The doctor found a tumor in my stomach, which was generated by the T-Cells. The diagnostic was the T-Cell Lymphoma. One of the symptoms I had for several years was the night sweats, typical of the lymphoma according to my oncologist doctor. I never had any swollen lymph nodes I could notice or see.

Hope you find the right diagnosis and keep yourself strong during treatment.

Jul 2, 2017 · Did anyone go through a stem cell transplant? Lymphoma in Blood Cancers & Disorders

Thank you for your post, It’s good to know that both of your diseases might be controlled by now.
How long was your recovery for after the transplant? Were you able to do all the things you used to do before? How did you feel while you were at home during recovery? And when were you able to do everything normally with any help from your caregiver?

Thank you Justin for the feedback. The Lymphoma I had was the Non-Hodgkin T-Cell and I was told that the I am eligible for the autologous transplant. I never had any transplant. My worries are on the recovery process after the discharge from the hospital , I will be prone to get seriously sick to death even from a regular cold since my immune system will be extremely low. I have talked to my doctor who does not understand my concern since he is used to deal with many patients under these circumstances.

What are the risks of it? My oncologist doctor advised me to have a stem cell transplant to make sure the Lymphoma do not come back. I am refusing doing it since the risks are very high. My wife and my daughter think that refusing to it is not the right decision.

Jun 23, 2017 · Sweating at night in Caregivers: Dementia

I had the sweating at night problem for several years, my primary care doctor never could find anything on me, until I changed doctors. Unfortunately those sweats were a result of a Lymphoma which are typical for this type of cancer with no other symptom, What lead to this finding it was a problem I developed in my stomach until a biopsy was performed.
I have a brother suffering from Myeloma Multiple. That extreme cold symptom is part of this type of cancer, nothing can warm him up, not even an electric heat pad. His cancer was found after various misdiagnosis.
Check with his doctor to see if this comment lead to a real finding. Good luck!

Jun 22, 2017 · Cancer de prostata in Prostate Cancer
