May 12, 2017 · Pain above right eye brow in Eye Conditions

Thanks for your reply.

For me it all started in the middle of August 2016, where my both ears were plugged up (that;s what I call it) and my nose constantly dripping and of course been going thru a lot of tissue. In September I decided to see an ear, nose, and throat doctor. She inform me to use twice daily a the sinus rinse and she put me on antibiotics. But the antibotics did not do anything for me. I went back to see the same doctor and she told me use sudafed for a week and nose spray (flonase). I did that and still did not do anything for me. I am one of those person that have glaucoma and AFIB. So I have to be very careful what type of medication to take. In November I decided to contact an allergy doctor. Of course I did the MRI and CAT-SCAN of my sinuses. My allergy doctor inform me that I have an infection in my sinuses. So he also prescribe more antibiotics for about 2 and 1/2 weeks. Guess what it did not work. Went back to see my allergy doctor and inform him to give me a prescription of allergy medication. Since August thru December I was so miserable. I took the allergy pill at night and the next day I felt great. So, from that time I take allergy medication before I go to bed. The medication I’m taking is Loratadine. It is the thing as Claritin, but I prefer the prescription version better.

I also have now is this pain above my right eye elbrow whenever I laugh, cough and bend over to pick things up. This pain last for about 5 minutes and then disappears. This all started in August 2016 till now.

My other problem is when my right ear is plugged, I get this pain that travels from my ear to back of head (only on the right side) that last for a while.

By the way, my allergy doctor refer me another ENT doctor and this doctor did a balloon sinus dilation procedure on my sinuses back in February 2017. I feel much better now.

I was diagnose with chronic sinuses which was bought about with allergies back in August of last year. Now that I figured out what was causing my symptoms, I somewhat have it under control except when I cough, laugh and bending down to pickup something of the ground I have this pain above my right eye brow. This pain last for a few minutes and disappear. This all came about at the same time with my chronic sinuses. My doctors had me take ctscan, mri of my front and both sides of my head. That’s how I found out I have chronic sinuses. I’ve been trying to figure this problem for awhile. Been to different doctors who can’t resolve it. So, if anyone out there is experiencing similar situatiion would you respond back to me.

Back in the middle of September 2016, my ears started to feel like it was plugged up and right ear ringing, when I bent forward or even cough my head hurts and also have alot of congestion. Went to see Ear Nose Throat doctor and she recommended me to do sinus rinse twice a day, prescribe me prednisone for five days and order a blood test to what I am allergic to. Medication did not work. Went back to the same doctor this time she told me to take sudafed and flonease. Medicatiion did not work but the sinus rinse did. I couldn’t get another appointment right way so I wen to see another Ear Nose Throat doctor. This time doctor recommended me to have a cat scan so I did. It turns out I have chronic sinus. So he prescribe twice to me antibotics and another round of prednisone low dosage. It did not work. I went back to my doctor and I told him you know what I have allergy. He put me on allergy medication which y you take before you go to bed at night. Medication did nothing for me. I have another appointment to see my doctor end of this month. What really worked for me is Mucinex.which I take at night before going bed.

I want to find out if any of you out there had similar experience that I’m going through and it got resolved.
