Hi. My name is Dianna. I found out 6 years ago I have AA. Well, try and explain this one to your friends. I found a wonderful a wonderful doctor on HHI. I live in South Carolina. The doctor I found has allowed me to treat my pain with the meds he can issue. I am on medical marijuana, Amitriptyline, and hydrocodone. This man has saved my life. Without his help, I cannot imagine how I would feel. I had an MRI about 3 months ago, and unfortunately the nerves have already started to “clump together “. Not something I am looking forward to, but right now, there is not a cure for this disease. I wish you well, and should you be in the area (Hilton Head SC) I’m sure you could become a patient of his.

Hi. My name is Dianna and I have been diagnosed with AA for about 6 years now. I live in South Carolina.
I found a wonderful doctor on Hilton Head, SC. He has been working with me and we finally found the right combo
of drugs to treat my AA. I know there is an opioid epidemic going on, but with the right doctor monitoring me, I have led nearly pain free life. I suggest you find the right doctor for your husband. This disease is terrible enough to live with, you should have a doctor that will listen to and help you with your pain. Good luck!

I have been suffering from this problem for about 8 years now. My disability lawyer was fantastic. The judge we had was so understanding. But, to treat this condition is to say the least, hairpulling mad. But, I found an awesome pain management doctor that is god sent. I went through several before finding him. I wish you luck in finding relief and if you need to vent…please feel free to contact me via this website.

Hello. I was diagnosed with Arachnoiditis 3 years ago. Went from regular doc to pain management doc. I would advise you go to one in your area. They have so many options. I am on fentayl patch as well as hydrocodone. He also put me on marninol. Works good. I live in SC so we don’t have recognized Cannabis outright. I am trying CBD for first time. Hope it works! Good luck!

Hi, I have a condition in my back from one fall. I have arachnoiditis. There is no cure. I have been on plenty of pain meds, but I found a very nice pain management doctor in Hilton Head, SC. I was smoking, pot for the relief with the hydrocodone. During my second, pee test, he asked me why I was smoking. I told him how the meds weren’t working and I elected to try pot. He then prescribed medical, marijuana. How much better I am with this drug. I recommend this for anyone who needs a supplement. South Carolina is a very closed state to anything and I am so very lucky to have found, him.

Hello, my name I’d diane. I have had problems with pain for over 30 years. I finally had my leg pain narrowed down to my back. My fibro was diagnosed about 5 years ago. Now I am being treated with fentanyl and Norco. In 2014 I found out I have arachnoiiditis. A very bad thing for me, there is no cure. I realize that there are a lot of fuss about opioids, but without them I don’t believe I would be able to function. Thanks for this site that I may find another soul with my problems!

Your best bet is to find a doctor to determine what your pain is caused from. Sounds,as if you may have a pinched nerve. Follow up with any doctors advise, and maybe find a pain management doctor. It took me years to find out what your type of pain I was experiencing.
It is a shame it takes so long to find out what the root cause is. I wish you well .
