Weight lifting isn’t just for men. According to Chip Gay, a clinical exercise specialist and certified strength and conditioning specialist at Mayo Clinic Health System, “Muscles are like rubber bands. Weak and out-of-shape muscles are like an old thin rubber band, whereas weight training is like widening that rubber band and strengthening it.” How can you incorporate weight training into your exercise routine?
