According to a meta-analysis conducted by investigators at the Mayo Clinics, n older tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor or secukinumab appear to work better than newer biologic agents in promoting response in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) who have inadequate response to or do not tolerate disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
