#ScopeScope - Colonoscopy Streamed Live on Periscope

Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer deaths, and yet it also is among the most preventable. Doctors recommend screening for everyone over 50.

To demystify the screening process, Mayo Clinic will broadcast a colonoscopy live via the Periscope mobile app on Tuesday, March 1, beginning at about 9 a.m. EST.

To participate, download the Periscope app to your mobile device and follow the Mayo Clinic channel, or follow Mayo Clinic on Twitter and look for the #ScopeScope tweet with the link to the video stream Tuesday.
