My doc ordered brain scan mri after stopping my oral meds. I have complained about Parkinson’s like symptoms as my mother was diagnosed about this age. Just my experience so far. Currently numbers reduced but still high.

brain scan possibly for bing neel syndrome. I got one when I said I got neuropathy in my face. Which is rare but serious.

@zeedee1, how did the scan go? Did you doctor explain the purpose of getting the scan? What did the results reveal?

Results revealed an extra axial 9 mm lateral temporal calvarium dura meningionoma and small vessel ischemic disease . Also macular degeneration. Most likely will need radiation and referral to neurologist who he wants me to get to see within 10 days. I called and first appt is available in December. So getting hold of oncologist today for help. Also eye specialist on Thursday.
Too shocked to ask important questions. Making a list of them now.
Do you think my cancer could be the cause? He said he thinks it is benign but might need more testing. My regular chemo scheduled tomorrow.
