With no cure for bronchiectasis, MAC, how do you prevent re-infection?

The only advice my Pulm gave me was to clean with vinegar and water because it kills the MAC bacteria. He also told me to empty my spa and clean the tubing with vinegar and water and spray my shower heads. Right now, I am not to use my spa while on treatment for 18 months. I just joined this group, did anyone on here ever get this advice? Blessings to All- -Filis Cardieri from Tucson, AZ

My pulmonologist says he has had 10 patients with MAC and has cured all of them with the antituberculin medications. I'm not at that stage yet. They are very potent.
