Will be released by Mayo soon. Advice needed! :D

I am going to be released by Mayo, and I need a place to stay in transition between here and an assisted living or retirement home. I'm likely getting divorced at my choosing.
I was willing to stay at a hotel near Mayo, such as Hilton, but relatives say that's out of the question: they don't want me in a hotel alone. So, how can I stay somewhere safe where there will be nursing care for a week or so while my future home probably in another state, is being decided?
