Well, I am no doctor, but being a person who was been diagnosed with crohn's disease about 28 yrs ago. Those symptoms would lead me directly to the ER. No use in even trying urgent care, they turn away anything associated with the abdomen. The ER can evaluate the situation faster than a visit to your doctor who would probably send you to the ER anyway.

Lots of luck, and hope you feel better soon.

Do you think it's something serious or life threatening? Do U think I may need surgery?!?!?!

i just went through 3 months of stomach pain nausea and any other discomfort you can think of related to the stomach. your doc will order a abdominal ultrasound or a endoscopy ..go with the ultrasound first...less invasive. I was finally told I had a polyp in my gall bladder .After suffering for months because of doctors inability to listen to their patients I had to finally tell them what I wanted I had my gall bladder out and found out from pathology that I had 3 stones and inflamation. I am doing 100% better. do not let the docs blow you off keep at them. ..stay away from fatty foods(I lost 25 pds before my surgery). gall bladder pain goes everywhere not just at the site. good luck

None of us can give you that kind of advice about having surgery, but I would go to an IN PERSON doctor, pronto... that was no diagnosis he gave you -- sounds more like a wild guess. I LIKE THE IDEA of going to ER... and if and when you do, tell them to recommend a dr... Then you will get some action. Good luck to you!! I doubt if its life threatening... Stop taking chances and just GO to a dr or the ER. You owe this to yourself.

Please believe me, I understand your fear...I wish I could give you a hug and tell you its all going to be alright...because it IS... you will be so wonderfully surprized at how much better you will feel!--even if it means surgery... Most of our fear is felt ahead of time because of our imaginations running wild. Please, dear one, keep imagining feeling really great...see yourself happy and smiling and saying I'm SO GLAD that this is all taken care of! I've 'been there, done that' ... so honestly, I do understand, and I just KNOW all will be well for you ... just take that step and go see a DR or go to the ER... Be kind to yourself and take care of yourself. You will be fine! Sending you love.
