Great question! Gynecologists Dr. Lauren Stricher, Dr. Sharon Malone, Dr. Jen Gunther, Dr. Mary Claire Haver, Dr. Rachel Rubin (Urology & Sexual Medicine), Dr. Lucy McBride
(Internal Medicine). I subscribe to some of them on Substack.

Of the gynecologists, Dr. Stricher and Dr. Malone track most closely with how I view risk. Dr. Stricher and Dr. McBride are my go tos for info. Just became familiar with Dr. Malone through her book Grown Woman Talk; I believe she was Michelle Obama’s doctor, or maybe a friend of hers. Dr. Gunther is very science based but tends to be conservative in my view and even though she is high risk for osteoporosis, she is against Vitamin D testing for the general population and only recommends DEXAs at 65 unless you are high risk. In that case, many of us would go decades without a diagnosis of osteopenia/osteoporosis! She sticks to her doctor’s association guidelines too closely IMO. And she tends to write in opposition to what others are saying. Like she finds a point to disagree with and builds a whole post around it. And she most always communicates the risk of hormone therapy rather than the benefits. That said, she is a good communicator and I have learned a lot from her. I think it’s good to read different perspectives.

Thanks for starting this discussion! I hope others chime in.
