I have not suffered with bi-polar disorder but have had anxiety and depression from a very young age so I can relate very much to the ups and downs it feels like a roller coaster at times does.nt it. I too have had to have alot of time of work I also have Factor V Leiden a clotting disorder so have had problems with this so can also relate to the money issues at well. I;m a very positive person and feel that although we go through difficult times that it will all come better again in time. Just take little fairy steps one at a time is another one of my sayings

Piglit I never heard of your health issue, did you have a bad childhood also which may have helped the problem?

The factor v is a gene mutation which causes you not to be able to clot normaly. I have had many dvt's on a blood thinner which I will always be on. The anxiety started from about 3 years old my dad collapsed in front of me so I think that it caused some trauma. T he depression just developed as the years went on. I Know that my dad had problems to with the anixety and depression. He also had problems with clotting too. I'm a carbon copy of him really God rest his dear soul. My childhood was made magical by my dear Mum. I adored my dad too he was just very unwell alot of the time

Am very sorry you are a survivor you seem very strong, I had a traumatic childhood especialy as a teen and I think it helps feed my disorder>I just accepted that I am bi-polar manic depressive about 3 months ago and even with meds it still is there

Sometimes I just want to give up cause I am so misunderstood and it makes me crazy trying to explain so I quit trying

You know I think that we just have to try to acccept the challenges that are place before us. We can't change the way we are but we can try accept and find ways of dealing with the problems when they arise more than usual. I think that were all unique and special in our own ways.

No I'm from Australia Don't ever stop trying. You know that we all have an inner strength at times we just need to rely on it more. Also a good idea to stay on your meds It can be scarey at times I no this feeling all to well too
