Tyenne for GCA and Cyclosporiasis

Hi,

My husband is on Tyenne and has been for a couple years for Giant Cell Arteritis. He first had PMR. He will likely be on Tyenne injections the rest of his life.

I'm concerned with the Cyclosporiasis outbreak and whether he should be staying away from all fresh produce that is not cooked. Right now, we've given up salads (yes, we used to eat bagged salad and didn't wash it - not a good idea, and I know that). We both love eating salads with dinner and have missed them. I've also started sauteeing strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries to over 160 degrees and using it to eat over plain Greek yogurt. It's not bad. We are eating papaya and bananas, and just purchased a cantaloup that we'll scrub before cutting.

Should I even be this concerned?

Any thoughts?
