trigeminocervicogenic complex syndrome

Hi,

Like many of you I have vast and vared symptoms. Been officially diagnosed with radiculopathy of BLE and BUE, with mostly numnbess and weakness.

However, about 3.5 years ago, 2 weeks after my 2nd Covid booster, I started also experiencing intermittent bilateral jaw tightness and numbness, tingling in both cheeks and tongue, nose and lips (I did have rhinoplasty and chin implant 20 years ago which did cause some nose and inner lower lip numbness). These symptoms have gotten more persistent over the last 3 months. In addition, I have a long history of dizziness, a likely diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia which I haven't had a full on attack in many years but suffered for a few decades; I did have a concussion about 30 years ago; I have moderate cervical and thoracic disc degeneration, some herniations and stenosis. Since the beginning of this year, I also have costochondritis and angina like pains (stress echo was normal) and a long history of throat and chest constriction with a feeling of globus sometimes. Am I crazy or is ALL of this somehow related?? TCC seems to maybe be an answer. My neurosurgeon very recently just told me he doesn't think I need surgery, which is great news. I am awaiting a cranial nerve EMG/NCS after a normal blink reflex test.

I don't know what professional to seek out.

Whew, I am exhausting! 🙂
