Treatment for Latent TB

I’m 67 year old female that has had latent TB since I was 5 years old. I got it from my father would had active TB at that time . I was treated with Isoniazid but for some reason I hid some pills under my mattress (about40)that my parents found when we moved a year later. I was wondering if there is a test for cure? I had a positive quantaferin gold blood test recently and my Dr wants me to go through the treatment again. So I started isoniazid and Rifapentine 3HP regiment. 3 weeks in, I got a rash and petechiae. Dr told me to stop meds. Now they want me to go on Rifampin for 4 months. Will I have the same reaction with this med? It is in the same family as rifapentine. Do I really need to be treated if I was partially treated when I was 5 and I have lived 62 years without any problems?
