~ Total knee replacement ~

Posted by @amberpep in Bones, Joints & Muscles, Jul 27, 2012

Hi all .... One year ago I had a total knee replacement in my right knee. My doctor put in a rotating implant. It has worked out beautifully, except the very outside of my knee, on the right, hurts when I walk. Do any of you know if this will eventually stop or do I just have to learn to live with it?

Seems I'm messing up one side of me and now the other. Total knee replacement, torn ligaments in my ankle (wore a cami walker for 6 weeks, then P.T.), now I've sprained my left foot, and my left knee is hurting.
This is just like my Dad was. Internally, he was very healthy ..... he had never been in the hospital until he got Alzheimers. But, structurally, it seemed he was weak. He was an athlete (I'm not) and played tennis, and always went with his wrist wrapped, his elbow, his knee and his ankle. Amazing.
