Anyone develop temporomandibular joints (TMJ) disorder from treatment?
Just curious if anyone has developed TMJ from their chemo treatment/Kadcyla or Anastrozole? I had all 3 and now have severe TMJ.

Ouch ! Contact your cancer team ! Many types of treatment affect joints, but are often temporary…TMJ can also come from inner tensions and will slowly resolve in most cases. Wishing you well !

2 Reactions@justabumpintheroad Ouch! I personally have had TMJ for several decades. Never thought to look into a change in severity being related to my cancer treatments!

3 ReactionsIf it gets too bad, look into PRP. It’s supposed to be helpful.
@nycmusic often, when tense, we tighten our jaw without realizing it…happened to me when I had a huge deadline pressure ! Enduring this type of pain long-term is beyond me…hope you get relief !
I have been on steroids for my bone pain but Drs slowly weaning me off them to see if I can cope. I elevate my legs when sitting as had fluid retention and this along with a lot of movement has greatly improved it. I live in Australia and lie in the sun to get vitamin D on my bones. I am stage IV and decided straight away that I would beat this POS, I try to stay positive as our main purpose should be to keep our immune system tip top to keep up the fight and the way I do it is to be thankful and grateful that it invaded my body at 56 and not as a child and that I live in a country where I have access to treatment, fresh water a roof over my head. Swimming will also help with the bone pain 💪🥰
