Tight Pelvic Floor Muscles and Botox

Posted by jlstjohn @jlstjohn, Mar 29 6:58am

Has anyone ever had Botox injections for tight pelvic floor muscles? It is an option I am going to consider after I have my follow up appointment with one of my specialist. She presented it as a treatment option at our first appointment. I have been through PT multiple times with little success and currently use a pelvic wand to assist in stretching the pelvic floor muscles to assist with having bowel movements. I have borderline short bowel syndrome and chronic hemorrhoids, also, which complicates matters. Any input would be appreciated!
