My father who is 57 years old has just been diagnosed with Thymic Carcinoma and it has spread to his left lung. My family and I are looking for any help we can get learning about this diagnoses and treatments from anyone who has faced this rare cancer and if there is any hospital better than another to get treatment at? One doctor said it isn't operable and another is going to look his test over to see if surgery can be done since it hasn't spread far. We are at a loss as to what to do since nobody in our family has ever had cancer much less a rare one that nobody we've spoken to has even heard of. Even his oncologist has no experience with this type. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
