Should you be taking a probiotic?

The first thing you should do when thinking about taking a probiotic is take a hard look at your diet and your exercise regimen. “Variety in your diet is very important. Eating healthy, unprocessed foods from a variety of sources will encourage a healthy gut. I really suggest letting your micro biome do what it does.” says Nicholas Chia, PhD, associate director of the microbiome program at the Mayo Clinic’s Center for Individualized Medicine.
