Tests to be done for constipation?

Posted by electracat @electracat, 21 hours ago

Hi everyone,

I had a gyno doc feel for a rectocele (she did not feel one), and I've had gut-mapping and bloodwork done, and a colonoscopy.

Is motility testing necessary (or ano-rectal stuff), or would it just lead to same treatments if suspected (but not tested for)?

Just want to make sure i cover my bases.

Often my stool feels so stuck in rectum (but it's not hard, just can't get through) and i don't know why. But nobody has seen anything of note. Only the idea that things have slowed and lots of water, etc is necessary! Just want to ensure that feeling it in rectum is...normal, for constipation? Thanks!!!

Maybe you are intolerant to some foods? I have digestive problems since high school. After I remove gluten from my diet, all problems are gone.
