Suing a pulmonologist for medical malpractice
Dear Friends,
Do any of you know of any cases where a pulmonologist has been successfully sued for malpractice regarding bronchiectasis or NTM? Need an answer as soon as possible.
Many thanks!

I have not...... but I can understand why you are looking at suing considering if there was withheld information , removal of information and lack of care.....and can be proven to have allowed your condition to go on for a good while without proper instruction and care to the point of why you are wanting to sue.
Medical suits as you know are difficult and can be very stressful, however, you already have gone through much stress because of the actual reason for looking at suing. Hopefully an attorney will take it on and do it with contingency. However as you know there are always administration costs as you go along with the law suit.
So much to think about and as well do all you need to do for your health.. I am sure you have given great thought to this.
Thinking of you and hope you receive some excellent help on our Mayo site.
