Six month post RARP PSA test results

Posted by jayhall @jayhall, Nov 14, 2025

I have my 6 month post op visit soon and I just got my blood work back and my results were the same at my 3 month results < 0.080 ng/mL. When I have my appointment I will ask if they have a more specific result but I am totally thrilled! 🙂 I'm going to go celebrate! 🙂

Good news obviously...

Stay vigilant with regular labs and consults, enjoy the success.

You don't say what your pathology report was. I say that because there are monograms such as the one MSKCC which can give a statistical probability given your clinical data on f a BCR.

I'm not sure what the value of doing is so unless you and your medical team are weighing adjuvant therapy.

Great news. Numbers not going up is always good. Keep an eye on the numbers over the next couple of years,

Excellent news.

Is that the lower limit of detection with your lab?

If so, number theoretically could be lower, but that would be the definition of "undetectable".

Great news! Very happy.

Is 0.08 the lowest detectable level in your PSA test? As you said, you should ask for one that can detect 0.02 or even 0.005.
