Hello @mbabkk — the easiest way to find a relevant discussion is click on the small magnifying glass icon at the top of the window to the left of the small bell for notifications. Then type in your search term. When the results pop up, check the Discussions filter on the right and click Apply. I found several on Alzheimer's but one had a typo. Here are some discussions to check out to see if they help:

Groups >Brain & Nervous System > Alzhiemer's
https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/alzhiemers/bookmark/?ajax_hook=action&_wpnonce=df1a72e8c0

Groups > Caregivers > Alzheimer's age related forgetfulness I was told
https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/alzheimers-age-related-forgetfulness-i-was-told/bookmark/?ajax_hook=action&_wpnonce=df1a72e8c0

Groups > Caregivers > Alzheimer's and DNR
https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/alzheimers-age-related-forgetfulness-i-was-told/bookmark/?ajax_hook=action&_wpnonce=df1a72e8c0

I copied a few above. The rest of the discussion are listed in the search link below:
https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=Alzheimer%27s&facet_type%5B%5D=discussion&hub_data_process=&hub_mvc_submitted_form=true&action=wp_handle_upload

Hope this helps.

Hi @mbabkk
Are you looking to connect with other people diagnosed with Alzheimer's or with people taking care of someone who has Alzheimer's disease?

I would like to connect with caregivers / I have a wonderful Neighbour with a 90 year old mother probably in stage 7 – under good medical care with a Mayo Clinic neurologist here in bangkok – but I
See the family of 6 sobs and daughters very much disagreeing on what care is right – from just keep her happy with food and sleep to let’s stimulate her / I see the latter approach having great positive impact but as the family takes turns in looking after mummy in their different houses it seems there could be a more stabilizing approach / thank you for any comments – please bear in mind this question comes from a person in Thailand where family is a very strong bond but also
Sometimes a competitive activity about “ who is right”
