Simple Practices to Rewire Your Brain
Found this article about how we think can rewire our brains and change our bodies. Here is the article in summary:
Cultivating the Conditions for Change
To use the power of thought and belief to rewire our brains, people can employ a few simple strategies to find what works best for them:
Breathwork: Conscious breathing exercises are simple and effective for resetting the nervous system. People can try different methods, such as box breathing, the physiological sigh, the half salamander exercise, or use apps such as The Breath Space, Swart said.
Spend Time in Nature: Being in nature reduces stress and improves cellular functioning and emotional processing.
Engage in Exercise or Body-Based Practices: Yoga and other forms of movement allow your body to move through negative emotions and create new neuroplastic pathways in the brain.
Repeat Positive Affirmations: Affirmations or reminding yourself of scriptures can rewire negative self-beliefs.
Practice Gratitude: Gratitude rewires the brain and communicates a sense of safety to the nervous system.
Engage in Social Connection and Play: Two of the most powerful nervous system regulators, social connection and play, return the body to a condition of openness, curiosity, and engagement.

Positive thinking. Letting stress roll off your shoulders in exercise or slow rhythm dance solo style and smooth motion moves. Reduce your stress in dance with gesture. Works most the time with me.

3 ReactionsThank you for the helpful- with my favorite tunes and really no one here I
can relax , not be flustered from someone watching or criticizing how I
move. I am limited as to certain positions that affect the pressure
increase in the head because of tumor removal in the brain. We have cameras
in every room so can be looked in on, whenever my caregivers want to see
what I am up to. Have gotten used to being checked and appreciate the fact
if needed someone can be here in as little as 10 minutes or less. My old
Music soothes the savage beast is,in reality really works to calm the mind
and boost your mental awareness at the same time.

@dyas That was very nice of you to say. i grew up with a family that always played instruments of some kind and slow danced to my dads band playing some slow songs and my late wife and i just enjoying to moment as the stress of life slowly ebbed away from our shoulders. I plan on reaching 100 years of age as long as we have doctors that can fix our broken parts and keep us going. I turn 70 this year and my daughter wants me around for many, many more years. Going to do my best to make that happen. 2024 i had brain surgery to remove a tumor from my brain, was cancerous and caused me a lot of hospital dates after that to get cancer free and have used music daily to relieve stress of some kind or another. hope you have a blessed day and feel free to message me anytime.
