Hello @yemi and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. It reads to me as though after 5 pints of blood in 5 days, the PCV tests are showing just 10% (or 10 mls per 100 mls) of blood consists of cells.

I am not sure what that means in terms of what you are going through, so if you have additional information you are looking to share, that may be helpful.

Do you know what the normal/ideal level is for this test for you?

Thanks so much for your comments; I really appreciate. Actually the normal PCV level is 38% , but with Crisis it comes to as low as 16% but after transfusion it return back to normal. Unfortunately this time around it is not the same; when the crisis started the PCV level was 10% with blood transfusion it rises to 22% after 2days it return back to 13% another blood was transfused it rises to 26% after 2days again it reduce to 10% hence my predicament; What is draining the blood and what is the solution?
