Shoulder pain ... where is it ?
When you say you have shoulder pain, are you saying.. in the joint itself ? Or in the muscle that runs between your neck and shoulder joint, or back around the shoulder blade ? Exactly where ? For me, it's in that muscle between... right where your suspenders would go (if you wore them)

Pain in shoulders for me was in multiple areas - upper arms, actual shoulders, and back of neck area. Worst pain I have had. Dramatically better 4 hours after first dose of prednisone.

This pain has been the one that has stayed with me the longest from my diagnosis 3 yrs ago, but it is minimal compared to what it used to be. The neck and upper back also involved from time to time. MRI has shown some calcium deposits also in the arms. Being able to sleep on my side was a problem but pred & MTZ over time helped with that. I’m hopefully almost tapered off the pred in the next month or so. Trying to remain patient with this final hump. Mild strength training 3x a week has helped too.
The deltoid muscles and across the clavicles, and across the upper back bilaterally
@ggarrepy I believe mine is mostly trapezius muscles
